We provide this project for free because we feel that it could help people build their own autonomous systems. This is not free for us though, we have to pay for infrastructure, talent, time and fees on assets, code and salaries.
Our corporate sponsor is just us, Metatek, the people who built this site. In short: We don’t have the resources to develop this software the way we would like to.

It’s simple. We need money to develop new features, and we don’t have any. You can help us by donating to this project. All funds are used towards Cosys-Airsim, for purchasing assets, hiring talented artists and programmers, and maintaining infrastructure to build the ultimate free and open source autonomous simulation software.

What we already accomplished
Our system is capable of handling multi-agent simulation for different types of vehicles, i.e. robots, drones, even robotaxis and cars, a diverse selection of environments and integrated real-time physics to make the simulation as real as possible. We provide a front end for simplifying setup and additional determinism to ensure your simulation runs are consistent.
What to expect moving forward
Our team has some exciting advancements and new integrations in the pipeline. Working closely alongside the brilliant minds at CoSys-Lab, we are integrating new sensing modalities, new vehicles types and API’s, with an expanding collection of worlds and environments
